About Us

Heera’s Art Center is founded in 2004 to encourage and develop art skills in the students following the Guru-Shishya parampara style. Art is taught in a simple and easy to understand manner. Skills are taught to the students step by step, from fundamentals and basics by following a systematic approach and curriculum.


  Art is taught with dedication, strong commitment and focus. Students use a variety of media such as Colored Pencils, Graphite Pencils, Water Soluble Pastels and Pencils, Water Color Paints, Acrylic Paints, Oil Pastels, Soft Pastels, Charcoal Pencils, Pastel Colors, Pen and Ink. Techniques of intensity, tone, progression are just a few of the many skills taught in the school.


   Every year a theme is selected for the annual project to provide an opportunity for the students and enable them to present their natural expressions, views, and thoughts through their artworks. Themes of Peace, Green World, Diversity, Healthy Choices, Colors, Abstract, Birds, Flowers, the Sea and Passion are chosen previously in the earlier exhibitions. These projects on the themes stimulate the imagination and development of independent thinking.


   Students of the art school continue to receive prizes in different competitions and their artworks appear in the school calendars. The senior students are found to be immensely benefitted by learning art in Heera’s Art Center for longer duration. They use the learnings and artworks in presenting their college application essays and profile presentation very effectively. Students love their art classes as it is filled with fun and gives them a sense of accomplishment, confidence, and relaxation.
